OK, so I know the picture is of New York but hey, i'm in the same timezone if that counts?!

Anyway, just a quick update from Atlanta. I left Becky and Sheila at the airport. They were flying up to Salvador in the North of Brazil and I was so gutted to leave them. Anyway, the flight was OK. It was only half full so I had a row by the window to myself and managed to get a bit of sleep which was good.

I skipped off the plane with my flip flops, little summer dress (luckily over my jeans!) and tiny thin hoody. Turns out, it was only 37 degrees farenheit!!!! (please remember it was 35 degrees celcius when I left Rio!).

My cousin rang me and said, "what colour coat are you wearing?" I was like, erm, I have flip flops on. I think she thought I was crazy. She also couldn't believe that 1 back pack for 3 months. Apparently,when she goes to Miami for the weekend, she takes 2 suitcases.

Anyway, we stopped on the way home for waffles.......(so much for the diet starts in Atlanta. I forgot that the South is the home of Southern Fried Chicken!) Spent the day chilling and met lots of family in the evening.

Yesterday, my dear cousins let me loose in a huge mall in downtown Atlanta which has a Macy's, Bloomingdales and Abercrombie & fitch. VERY dangerous! I was very well behaved though under the circumstances.

Today we're off to downtown again for lunch and more shopping.

I can't believe that this time tomorrow I will back in England. It doesn't seem real. Mum and dad...please bring me a big coat and a quilt so I can sleep on the way home!!! :-) I'm sure i'm going to die of hypothermia before I even reach Derby.

Anyway, looking forward to catching up with you all when I get back. Can't wait to see everyone and hear about everything i've missed.

When I get home, i'm going to put my pictures on the site so check back in a few days. That way when I try and bore you with my huge photo album, you can say you've already seen them.

Anyway, thanks to everyone for being so good at keeping in touch, I could hardly keep up with all my emails and messages.

See you all tomorrow....argh...that sounds so scary!
