Hervey Bay The 13 hour journey from Airlie Beach to Hervey Bay by Greyhound coach wasn't too bad. We had a number of stop offs for food and drink and the rest of the time we slept. It was 4:30am and we were sitting in the baggage reclaim area of Cairns domestic airport having been the first arrivals of the day. The good news was we had our rucksacks. Perth It was Saturday 16th October at 4am and we were sitting in Adelaide airport waiting for the check in desk to open.
