Well...! I started on the Kiwi Experience bus on the 3rd and travelled south to Whitianga, Rotorua, Waitomo & then here to Taupo!

In Rotorua we went to a traditional Mauri Village Evening where they welcome you in the traditional way then you see the way they live/d then we watched some traditional Mauri entertainment including the Haka which is brill!! We then had the most gorgeous meal and there was a gift shop - yey!!!! It was a great evening and i have another one similar to look forward when i arrive in Christchurch.

We had a barbecue and a few drinks last night at Waitomo, which was a really good laugh, plenty of drinking games and then onto the ( and i mean 'the'-as in the only!) pub where there was a live band on which was great too!

Today we drove to Lake Tapou which is really lovely, we have a good room in the Base Hostel with a balcony that looks onto the Lake so that's really nice. Been to the pub next door tonight, won a few games of pool!!! and had a drink with everyone.

Everyone's really getting on well and we're really getting to know everyone which is great. Only 3 more weeks today till i'm home!!!! Hope it stops snowing!!!
