We moved to here, next to a farmer's field, after Council Security banged loudly on the van at 6am this morning and told us that we were illegally parked (in the main car park on the lakeside in Wanaka - next to lots of other vans..!) There was a sudden mass exodus in the earlier hours, of campers looking for empty lay-bys for another couple of hours kip!!) I was looking at this view when I spoke to you, mum.
