Colin and I both read the latest blog and studied the photos too. It looks like another world!

Hello, Hello! Very much enjoying looking at all thephotos and getting your news: bet that hot shower was good!! Reminds of when we were in Colombia all of 14 and 17 years ago fetching Chris and Alice: countryside and buses and churches look just the same!
Lots of love and a big abrazo (is that a hug or a kiss?) Susie and Marcus et al

Hola Linda - Good to hear from in Guatemalan . I did notice the leaden skies in the picture of your new home - hope the weather improves. If not it will be an incentive to stay in and study rather than having too good a time. Is it Spanish as the Spaniards speak or even harder? Look forward to your next update (in the local lingua). Say hello to Jos from us & Jo. Ciao Linda

Hi Linda
Great to hear from you and to see some pictures as well. I know that it is not all fun and play with you (learning a language you are already good at is such hard work!) but I can't help but feel a tad envious. Keep up the blog. Ann xx

Thanks, Linda. I, too, am liberated from the workplace today being very unwell so news from foreign parts very welcome distraction! Is the photo a nearby volcano or simply a pretty pic? Sounds like a true Guatemalan experience and not at all touristique - good luck with the Spanish. I missed my first French class last night because of my illness :-( Look forward to more travel blogs soon. This one came through fine. Love Muriel
