Hola Linda - Good to hear from in Guatemalan . I did notice the leaden skies in the picture of your new home - hope the weather improves. If not it will be an incentive to stay in and study rather than having too good a time. Is it Spanish as the Spaniards speak or even harder? Look forward to your next update (in the local lingua). Thanks, Linda. I, too, am liberated from the workplace today being very unwell so news from foreign parts very welcome distraction! Is the photo a nearby volcano or simply a pretty pic? Sounds like a true Guatemalan experience and not at all touristique - good luck with the Spanish. I missed my first French class last night because of my illness :-( Look forward to more travel blogs soon. This one came through fine. Love Muriel
