Well after a sleepless night worrying myself that you might be dead at the bottom of a ravine after your sky diving I was more than pleased to read that you are back on terra firma .Then after reading about your hair raising experience on the mountain I felt sure I was about to have a heart attack !!! I totally forbid you to venture out on any more death trap adventures , my nerves cant take it !! I cant believe the incompetence of the company to take you out in such dreadful conditions ,there could so easily have been a fatality (or more ).Linda you looked absolutely terrified . The guy who you sky dived with had quite a smile on his face ,you must have made his day Linda. What man wouldnt want to jump out of the sky with such a pretty girl .The photos are as usual up to the same brilliant standard .Wish we could have seen the glow worm caves. We are quite amazed at the amount of driving you are doing -what an array of experiences you are enjoying .I doubt if we went on a gap year we would dare to do as many things as you two. PLEASE no more scary trips ,just do NORMAL things then I might get a decent nights sleep !!!! Over to Dad now
Hi you two - glad we didn't know about your experiences until they were safely over. Will you be watching the quarter final - I think it will be about 3 a.m. Sunday your time! Let's hope it doesn't go to penalties. The papers are talking about a place for Aaron Lennon, which might liven things up a bit. England cricket has gone to pot - being slaughtered in the one-dayers by Sri Lanka.
Keep safe and enjoy the Cook Islands. Love Mum and Dad xxxx
Phil And Lin
Tragic news about Harriette - well have a silent minute tomorrow on the plane th the COOK ISLANDS!!! Plenty of pictures for your viewing. We suggest you have a tea break and possibly a power nap about half way through. Oh yer theres a journal too. Miss you all. xxx
Andy
Hello you two. Don't know how to break this to you but Harriet the tortoise from Australia Zoo has died after 175 years and 7 months (honest, in today's paper page 37). Strange how this comes just a couple of weeks after your visit to see her. I blame your poor hygiene, please try not to spread disease and pestilence when you travel! Good helicopter shots, looks like a Robin R22 to me, am I right or am I right? Mum forbids you to go skydiving, however I encourage you to do it, so overall this means you can do what you like. Well have a fun final month, see you in just 4 short weeks or so! Oh yes, work finally say I CAN have my relocation money, so that's good. Take care dudes, Andy.

Kram mamma
Phil

We have to say that the latest photos of Kaikoura are some of the best we have seen, the scenery is absolutely stunning. Its so strange to suddenly see you surrounded by so much snow when most of your pictures have been so sunny !!! Linda you looked ready to conquer Everest with that ice pick !(glad I wasnt standing close to you -very scary! ) Philip if I ever again see you driving without your hands on the steering wheel I will smack your backside -What a naughty boy you are to scare your Mother like that !!!!!Tut tut . We both would love to have experienced the thrill of sitting in the hot tub in such freezing conditions -you looked so relaxed . Daisy looked to be a cute little car -You were so brave to dare drive on such icy roads . The longer you are away and the more fabulous photos we see the more envious we become.Oh yes while I am on the subject of ENVY !!!! It must be so nice for the thoughtful ,kind ,lovely Linda to send her mummy so many little E -Mails what a pity my little boy dosent send many to his mummy !! HINT ,HINT ,HINT !!! Wait until I see you Mr Hutchinson . Seriously
though it is so lovely to see you both on screen and we are so pleased you are experiencing such a fantastic adventure. Continue to be safe and well and have lots of fun Much love to you both . Mum and Dad xxxxxxx
P.S. Glad neither of you would be too upset about the Sweden/England result. Just as I said it looks like England have beaten Sweden for the first time in 38 years that equaliser crept agonisingly over the line ! Next match v Ecuador 4p.m. Sunday -I think thats about 3 .a.m Monday for you !! (Dad ) xx
Linda

Hey Tom,
Glad to hear your enjoying London. Afraid that we didnt stay in Collaroy although i did contemplate going there to remanisce (not sure how to spell that!) but it was just too far away given that we were only in Sydney for 3 days. Enjoy the party, keep up the work at the gym and ill see you in a few months mate.
Tom
Hello, hope you're both well. Life in London is as exciting as ever, just at work at the moment, but England are going to thrash the Swedes this evening so looking fwd to that. Everyone seems to have gone a bit world cup crazy over here - all the chavs have got St George's crosses all over their cars, houses, pets, children etc. Philip i'm sure you'll be delighted to know that i have joined a gym and been going, went during my lunch today and the other day i went before work - how motivated is that! Hope you enjoy NZ i had an awesome time there, heard Kaikoura is v nice - def loads of dolphins, whales etc.
Am going to Ben Coates' penthouse summer bash on saturday which should be good fun, hopefully lots of good looking girls for me to crack on to!
Tom xxx
ps. Did you stay at the YHA in Collaroy when you were in Sydney, i'll be v upset if you didin't!
Lin
Hi everyone,! Phil and I have just arrived in New Zealand....and it's freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezing. But the alps are covered in snow and the glaciers are pretty ( saw them as we flew in to Christchurch) so we can't complain. We'd originally planed to stay a few days in Chritchurch, Wellington and Auckland and only do a few bus tours but we got slightly impulsive 10 min before we arrived in NZ and decided to get a car instead. This is our first rented car ever (is that a sign of us getting old or what??)!! Should be a good roadtrip. So here we are in Kaikoura ( 3 hrs north from Christchurch). It's awesome. Tomorrow we'll probably try and spot a few wales and seals etc. and the head inlands to the hot springs. And yes mummy, even though I'm travelling the world I'm very envious that you're going to Iceland.....can I come.......pretty please (puppy eyes)
