Yes parcel arrived in good shape. Dont think Tom had eat any of the chockies. He did have to lie at the airport when he was asked if anyone had given him anything to take onboard! Chockies were melted but eat them anyway! Thanks very much - but havnt required the immodium yet. Foods a lot better down here - been having steak and pasta! Hired Scooters yesterday. Mine and Lins ran out of fuel! but we were luckily near a shop which sold petrol in Fizzy drinks bottles! Mainly been playing cricket on the beach and paddling around in the water! Going to take a flight from Goa to Kerela tomo morning.

Dear Philip and Linda
Just seen your latest photos which are terrific .Love the action shots of you playing volley ball Linda. We doubt the boys you played with were very interested in the game but on the sexy attractive coach !!! Your camera was obviously well worth the money ,the quality is fantastic. You have no idea how envious we get when we see you having such a great time.
Did Tom remember to take the parcel we sent you and if so was it o.k? Hope the chocolate didnt melt before you could enjoy it. We have made a start on decorating the dining room and have got paper to do the downstairs loo too.Gardener is hopfully going to make a start on the work in 3 weeks time .He reckons it will take about a month to do .Grandma was thrilled you rang her for her birthday She says she misses you both . Been in all day today due to it snowing -its not forecast to stay for long though ! Hope Tom is enjoying being with you .We are sure you must be pleased to have
his company.
.Linda you are looking thin -are you eating enough? I can see I am going to have to give you plenty of home cooking when you get back home-especially some Yorkshire pudding !! Missing you both billions .Say hello to Tom for us. Looking forward to your next letter . love mum and dad xxxxx.

Hi Chris and Paul,
Don't be sorry about last night. We are very impressed that you managed to track us down. I have a feeling I was probably quite abrupt last night. I get really confused when I'm half awake, half asleep. We are aware that flight times change quite often over here so we always check the day before if it's still on time. If you get any phonecalls regarding any other flight changes for other countries than India please send us an e-mail. Lots of Love, Linda X
Andy
Yo dudes, photos do look interesting.. however i am getting increasingly frustrated at the lack of aviation shots. i see that you have now taken to photographing trains, which is a step in the right direction but not quite what i'm after. i'm going on holiday in two weeks, getting very excited about that. well take care and have a good time....

Hi you two
Sorry to have woken you to give you the airline message we received from India. If we get any more we will ignore them on the basis that we know you check in advance of each flight. Just seen new photos - and strongly suggest that Philip doesn't wear that hat again as pigtails do not suit him! It looks a bit primitive having to dry your smalls in front of an electric fire! Photos are really great- you are certainly seeing some interesting parts of the world. Hope your journey back down the mountain is not as hair-raising as coming up it. Tom should be on his way now and looking forward to meeting up. Send us some pics of all 3 of you.
Love Mum and Dadxxxx

Tom,
Can you bring a cricket bat and ball ( a size 5 might fit down the back of your backpack if youve got one) and a frisbee too if possible.
Tom
Hi guys - very excited about my imminent arrival in india!!! Just been to get my haircut, so i don't get too hot!
I agree about palolem beach as well - i was going to suggest it to you guys, it gets the best write up in my lonely planet out of all the beaches, so thats good. Some of the cities sound nice as well - there's one i can't remember the name of that gets a really good write up, but its not that touristy - anyway i'll read up about it before monday.
Also i've read about the houseboat thing in kerala as well which looks really good and i was going to suggest that as well.
I'll try to bring the lonely planet with me, but not sure whether i'll be able to renew it a couple more times, but i'll try tomorrow.
Hadn't thought about going to agra, but it seems a pity to miss out on the taj mahal so i'll think about it.
Anyway looking forward to seeing y'all.

Hello Tom,
What do you want to do in Goa and Kerela? We heard that Penaji and Old Goa is nice and historic, Palolem beach is the best down there and Kerela backwater cruises are amazing you can stay overnight on your own boat while it cruises along - its a little expensive but if theres 3 of us it might be feasible as you pay for the boat not per person. Could you bring your South INdia book youve rented as it might be a little more upto date and specific than our Lonely planet which has now been superceded by a new edition. If youve any spare time you could research nice hotels in those areas ? PS If your plane arrives early into Delhi you could if your willing to pay a bit of cash get a taxi to see Agra where the Taj Mahal is and while your there you could go to agra fort (and get a guide) which is really good. Taxi might cost around 3000 rupees for the day, about 40 quid. Just give us an email when your in agra if youve gone there. You could even go straight from the airport which would be quicker as it takes a lot of time to get into and out of Delhi - our flight is at about 14.00 and so we should get to the hotel by about 20.00 ish if its on time.

WE are allowed 15kg's in India and our bags weigh 15. The 10kg's is only for some of the flights in the evening. Yer good job we packed the hats and gloves but its only cold in the evenings and early in the morning. But its not -5 like it is in Harrogate!
Say hi to grandma and happy birthday too.
Its MR PA HUTCHINSON - with no space between the P and the A.
Tummies have been fine recently. The free breakfasts is toast and hash browns, eggs if you want them and tea.
Just been white water rafting - ill write about it later and have to be up at 3.30am tomo to get ot Tiger hill to watch the sun rise over the 3rd highest mountain in the world - Katchenjunga, apparently you can see everest too.
England seemed to have a good position in the cricket but not quite so good now. Did you watch the England football Dad? Anygood?

great to hear you arrived safely now you have to worry about the descent (OR NOT )!!! Glad the hotel is even better than your expectations -sounds awesome with those roof top views. I hope you are warm enough and glad you put your hats and gloves in the bag .Did you feel you could have taken more luggage through the airport or were they insistant on the 10 killograms limit ???
