So Ottawa was an interesting experience, the place itself was lovely it had a lot of really nice building like their parliament building and the various museums. I arrived there at 2 and met with two of my roommates we all ended up going out to see the human science museum and the war museum as all the museums were free that day. The human museum was very interesting it showed the development of Canada and the people, showing the first nations and then the history of various people who invaded and settled in Canada. The war museum was alright it showed the history of Canadian Armed Forces and they had Hitler's car in the museum.
The houses of parliament were really nice, we managed to go across them at night where there was a light show being tested across the building, with lasers and other things it was really good to watch. My second day was a bit more different, I went to parliament but found out that for no reason my camera had decided to break. So I had to spend my second half of the day going to Camera shops and ended up having to buy a new camera which was a shame.
So the day after I went to Parliament again so I could get photos with the new camera which came out well, it was a good tour and we got to see the house of commons and the old library which was really nice. They had a lot of pictures and statues of Queen Victoria and the carvings all over on the stones were really detailed. I also got changed rooms into a prison cell. As I was staying in a hostel that used to be a Jail, it was a nice hostel the prison sections were interesting and I got a few photos of me in the cells and behind some bars. I also went to the nature museum which had reopened and had free entry as well, it was really busy but it was a good museum, it had a lot of sections and interactive activities for people. There were dinosaur bones and the skeleton of a hump back whale which was huge. It was a really nice museum but very busy because of it just being re-opened again.
