Today's destination is Breda, about an hour from Den Haag. I met up with Maartje, in a cafe and ordered my lunch in Dutch, the language is becoming easier to understand, the town was wonderful and the people were once again so friendly. After a wonderful catch up with Maartje, I headed back to Den Haag to go to scheveningen. The beach of the Netherlands. It had a Santa Monica feel to it, but reminded me of the esplanade at Perth. I would love to return when the weather is warmer.
Tomorrow I'm on an early train to London via Brussels, I'm already feeling melancholy about leaving The Netherlands, it has truly been a fantastic two weeks, embracing the Dutch culture and meeting such kind hearted, genuine people.

*Football crazy! Watched three games!(support Rotterdam, PSV,Wooden8!:-)
*The color orange is everywhere!
*the Dutch love there bikes, and it's legal to drink and ride?!
*fries and waffles are plentiful, and I like it!
*windmills are everywhere in the country
* they don't wear clogs- I see more in the delivery suite at work than over here!
* wonderful country, somewhere I could live:-)
