Hi Aidan,
Great to hear from you this morning, and good news that Cairns missed the full brunt of the cyclone and the pair of you are safe. I enjoyed the photos of you and Katie off the Barrier Reef though I must confess my heart sank when I say you with the giant sea cucumber, given your history of eating the wildlife - crocodiles, kangaroos, etc. Please tell me you didn't eat it.
Dad.
Monica
Happy Birthday Aidan!
Little did I think 23 years ago that all that suffering was to enable you to swan aroud the world, enjoying yourself....mmmmmmmmm
Enjoy the treats Katie's planned and make the most of this special day. You've got only 4 months left!

Hello!
Glad to hear you are both happy and well - you seem to cram a lot into your days which is cool. And all that wildlife - sounds great! Have you met any interesting humans?
I will ask Steven about Bali - we went up to the volcano on a motorbike and hung out in Kuta where you can surf but its quite hardcore.
Had a look at your photos - "Incriminating Evidence" 1 & 2. But we knew you were growing a mullet anyway Aidan....

Dear Katie and Aidan,
Hi there! You don't really know me but I belong to the Salvation Army youth group in Darlington and I've just been having a look at your pictures having been treated to a very nice lunch by your Mum and Dad Katie : )
You look as if you're having a great time. You're much braver than I would be. The thoughts of creepy crawlies and tropical diseases keeps me this side of the world. Anyway, have a great time. Australia and Peru both sound fantastic.
Happy travels!

Hi Katie
I'm your dads old school friend, I'm sure you know of me. I hope your dad gave you the information I provided re Kuala Lumpur. I'm afraid I'm not very good at this web page stuff, but I would like to invite you to come and see us here in Perth if you make it to Australia. I'm not sure what your holiday plans are or how you are travelling but Perth is worth a visit if you have the time.
Monica
Oh...Happy Valentine's Day....did you remember Aidan??

Possibly the worst photo of any of our four children, Aidan. Thanks for including it! In the meantime, Katie looks well placed in the rose garden. Lovely photos. Well done. Some of the indian food looks set to move all by itself! Keep them coming.

Quiz update: We came joint 3rd today, team members cliff 'the brains' searle, tim & little tim, owen and ben. Good overall performance. I had to explain to the mixtures why our team name is mark fowlers banana pickers, didn't go well. And some guy elbowed bob in the nose and gave him a nose bleed! Thought bob was going to kill him with his Vietnamese, jungle warfare, close combat martial arts skills.
