Melaka is an intriguing little place jam packed with history and culture. The best way to see the town is by a trishaw. We travelled to KL in style on a Super V.I.P. bus but unfortunately this turned out to be the worst bus journey we have been on. Leaving the Cameron Highlands we travelled 47km on a continuously twisty road downhill. We wanted to go south from Kota Bharu to Taman Negara, the oldest rainforest in the world. We could have either got the 3 hour express train from 9pm to 12am or the 'slow train' that starts at 6am and takes 11 hours. We got the slow train, for the views.
