Back in sydney now, probably for the next 6 months. Got a great little pad in kings cross and now we have rossco with us its gonna be a summer of much fun!

next stop was byron bay, about 2 hours south of the gold coast. byron was the complete opposite of surfers, just a small town full of hippies, cool jewelry and a beautiful beach where you could climb up to a lookout point and watch dolphins in the bay. we also had a day trip to Nimbin, about 2 hours inland, which was pretty mad - just a small village where pretty much everyone smokes weed and campaigns to legalise it. they have a cannabis museum, shops, a 'happy ...

we left brisbane after 2 months of saving to start our trek back to sydney. we loved brisbane in the end, it was such a cool place. First stop was the gold coast where we stayed in the heart of surfer's paradise. The beach was awesome,huge, lined with skyscrapers and we had a few nice stays melting in the sunshine. hey people just moved into a new pad up in cairns, enjoying the tropical 'winter' sunshine, got the second year visa now - man did we work for that! trying to find work so we dont end up back on the farm :) xxxxxxx
