You could only sleep in hammocks in Tayrona, there weren't any hostels or anything. These were ours. Originally we were jealous of some of our friends that scored hammocks out in a little island looking out on the ocean. That all changed when a massive electrical storm rolled in during the middle of the night. They all froze their asses off and we were nice and sheltered. Plus they had rats, we didn't. They also had a dog urinate on all their stuff, we didn't. Not the best nights sleep I've ever had, but wasn't the worst either.
