Lauren sleeping on the bus to Medellin. Surprisingly wasn't as bad as we expected. Got on the bus at 7pm from Santa Marta (near Taganga) and arrived in Medellin the next day at about midday. We were 2 of 5 people on the bus so we had 2 seats to ourselves. We found out later that there was an airline that flew the same leg for about $15 more....no wonder we were only 2 of 5 idiots on the 15 hour long bus ride! Colombian countryside when entering Medellin was beautiful though and probably made the trip worthwhile (when you didn't feel like the bus was going to tip off the side of a mountain...)
