Today we had a road trip to Coolangatta, which is about 1hour south of Brisbane. The day was spent on the beach surfing and building a beach jacuzzi for the girls (see pictures). The girls caught some excellent waves..... us not so great! The beach is so much more exciting with kids - it sometimes looks a little bit strange acting like kids when there are no kids!! After an early morning Greyhound we arrived in Brisbane. With an hour or so to kill before meeting Uncle Stu we grabbed some lunch and read up on the city in Anzac Square. We arrived in Coffs Harbour at 5:25am and after very little sleep we jumped on the hostel bus with 3 other strangers. The driver was very informative and took us to a look out point, showing us where everything was - this was not something that we appreciated at the time!
