Official day 1 of teaching! With positivity running high, we prepared the classrooms and waited in anticipation. Session 1: 9-11am. We agreed our meeting place for our 10am break, to see how things were going. Helping out on the farm was very enjoyable. The jobs we were given got progressively more important as trust was gained. Job 1 - Water the allotment (It is very important to make sure you use the correct finger over the end of the hose pipe to disperse the water adequately). First job of the day.... Find a Canadian Bank (Free to withdraw money). Again with the Lonely Planet in hand and facing the manic roads, we found ourselves following the footsteps of an 8 year old girl!
