So I've been in Exmouth 4 days now. Joined the easyrider bus tour with the options to jump on and off all the way down. We left Broome (thank god!) last tueday morning and visited 80 mile beach briefly (so many shells) and stayed at pardoo cattle station for the night. The next day we stopped at port hedland briefly then drove to Karijini national park and went gorge walking and swimming in circular pool and fern pool within the gorges. Was quite scary as only had my pumps on and everyone else had trainers on so thought I was going to die on the way down the steep incline into the gorge! It was very beautiful and we were there for about 4 hrs and I wish I'd had longer there. We camped in the camp site there, the stars were amazing - you can see the milky way clearly and many shooting stars, nothing beats the stars out bush! The next day went in the morning to see where the 4 gorges meet which is breathtaking. We then drove to Paraburdoo for lunch and all the way to exmouth where we discovered there was a flat tyre on the trailer that was frayed so much it looked like it had had a haircut! Staying at Blue reef backpackers which is a caravan park that has dorm rooms. I meant to do my PADI here but I would have been stuck here for 10 days if I had have done because the buses only come twice a week and I would still be doing it when the bus come tomorrow. I'm off to coral bay tomorrow and will endeavor to do lots of water related activities as have not been too well here in exmouth so haven't really done anything apart from sit by the pool and go to (what little) shops they have here. So Coral Bay here I come!
