Great blog, Leighton. Your description of all the people reminded me of returning from China to Iowa and being amazed that there weren't people everywhere. You seem like a wizened old traveler in China now (not in age, only experience).

So pleased you left the "tutu" at home for the Niujie Mosque visit, Swan Lake is not a good look lol....Your descriptive menu's always sound so yummy, but alas, Sam turned tail very quickly on reading the barbeque of "Rover".
