Me and El were away when the Earthquake hit, so quite annoyed about missing it. Hopefully there is going to be a bigger one coming soon as only a few chimneys fell down not whole houses :)
Jon has come back from travelling for a few months as he has blown all his cash. I know you will be alright as you're the tightest person in the world :)
It's my 30th birthday on Sunday and i'm celebrating it in style at Bar Brevet where all the old people hang out :)
Really like the pictures apart from the shaven gay chest one.
See you soon!

Hi all,
I changed my flight so I am now with Duncs on the way to Bali, waiting at Darwin airport.
Cost a few bucks, but we got fed up with Cairns.....its crap.
So no solo travelling for me just yet!
Emily
Hi Lee's family, hope you are all ok after the earthquake. Our house in Lyminge shook quite alot, so must have been bad in Folkestone. Is your house ok? Love Emily x x

Just an after thought....
I missed the massive hurricane in the 80's and now the earthquake.
I should stay at home, I keep Folkestone safe!

Hi Mum,
An earthquake!! I first heard about it this morning on the local radio in Cairns, its International news!! Maybe thats why I couldnt get through last night on the phone? I left messages for you and Nan.
i was actually pretty worried because 4.3 is pretty big! Glad its all OK though and I can imagine it being a worry. Just think, a few months ago that would have distracted my attention from poker and yours from watching Doctors in the front room!!
How comes I've always wanted to feel what an earthquake is like, then when I go travelling one comes along! I'd swap diving on barrier reef for that anyday!!
:) hi Josh's mum!! I'm glad the STA travel blogs are bringing all sorts of people together. I'm meeting Josh and Alex in Thailand so I'll make sure they are OK for you!
Keep safe in the danger zone that is Folkestone!! x x

Hi AGAIN!!
Just realised that when I update the blog it all comes up as 1 paragraph. I think its just the way it transfers from Word, where I type it up.
It would take too long to sort it out I'm afraid, sorry.
Lee
Rach,
Yeah scuba was pretty cool. Well glad I got the chance to do it, I felt like James Bond.
Grandad told me about the crutches! Pretty crap huh, but at least im not around to mess about on them all the time like before.
Driving you around all day or sitting in the sun working on my tan....hmmmm :)

Hi all,
Added pictures and will update the blog soon. Me and Duncs are taking a 12hr over night bus to Cairns (our final destination in Australia) so we'll have plenty of time to write it up then.
Hope you like the pics, I think they are amazing!

Hi everyone,
I have lots to update but just a quickie to say that I'm back from the Whitsunday islands and had the time of my life!
We did a scuba dive and took an underwater camera. The pics are amazing.
In 1 day we saw White Haven beach (in the top 10 in the world), snorkelled the Great Barrier Reef, had a scuba dive, roast lamb for dinner, got hammered during sunset, then watched the dolphins swim past our boat during the night.
To top it off our American roomate fell through a hatch on the main deck when drunk and landed 1 floor below - I couldnt breathe for laughing. Its got to be up there with the best days of my life and couldnt really believe I was actually there!
Amazing pics to follow when I find a internet cafe that allows me to use laptop.
