Tody we visited a resort in Singapore called sentosa. Its basically a man made island with the most southern point of continental asia on it and a bunch of tourist attractions and rides. Seeing as we are massive cheapos we payed the fee to walk aroud the resort and for nothing else. This is essentially a toll to cross a bridge, a cost of 50 pence each.
Following which we watched other people have fun on the expensive rides, moaned about the cost of refreshments, and walked about 7 miles in the midday sun to avoid paying for the tram around the island. We defienately ended up seeing the arse end of this resort, literally...
And the claimed most southern point is a little disapointing as we managed to spot two other, potentially uninhabited islands beyond the point. So unless those land masses are in australian waters I would say sentosa doesnt have the most southern point of continental asia.
