Hi all

Last few days we've spent travelling around from the top of the North island down to the bottom, its been quite hectic as the Island is a lot bigger than we first thought. Thursday we spent the day checking out the hot pools in stinky Rotorua and then went to a traditional Maori church. Friday we did loads of driving with lots of detours but eventually ended up in Otaki where we were entertained by Jon, Joan, Rosa, Lance & Debbie - certainly a night to remember (thanks guys), Tui beer rocks!!!

Saturday we arrived in Wellington and met up with Vicky, Steve and Jacob. The Sevens (Rugby gamne) were on sat night so me & Stu headed into the city centre to watch all the action - it was mad! Thousands of people lined the streets all wearing fancy dress, the atmosphere was electric and best of all ENGLAND won - whoopiee! Sunday we spent the day at Days Bay Beach where Vicky & Steve live - day of total relaxation which is just what we needed. Tan has taken a bit of a battering cos they only sell factor 30 over here and its too high - oh well, better to stay white than to burn hey! Today we plan to head into Wellington, up the cable car (see picture above) and around the city highlights. We'll keep you posted.
