There isn't really much to write about Koh Tao so far! Shane is diving most of the time and I'm reading and enjoying having some time to myself! Shane has finished his PADI and started his advanced with his last two dives today. He has really enjoyed it and I can see it becoming a really expensive hobby! Yesterday Shane was up early for his diving so I decided to get up and go to a yoga class! It's something I have always wanted to try so with nothing better to do I figured why not! I got really lost trying to find out and was almost ready to give up but I saw a girl who was heading in the same direction and dressed for yoga, so followed her! Shane spent last night starting his PADI course, before we both had the BBQ food at the place we are staying, which was really good! We then spent the night in our room as Shane had a lot of reading to do before today! I slept in late, which I think was needed! It has stopped raining now, but was really stormy to start with. This means no sunbathing for me while Shane is doing his diving stuff! It has been nice just relaxing with a book looking at the rain tho...

We had planned a quiet last night in Bangkok before travelling today, but it was the Kings birthday celebrations and we ended up getting caught up with that! We spent the night in one of the bars where they all lit candles and sang the national anthem. Then there were two different firework displays which were really good! Not much to write about as we spent yesterday by the pool and had a quieter night. Today is probably going to be much the same. Both of us are struggling a bit with jet lag and it's nice to just have a couple of days to settle into it! We also have an early start tomorrow before leaving for Koh Tao at 6am!
