This morning we went with Matty from Albury/Wadonga down to the famous Abbey Road Studio and pedestrian crossing. It was hilarious seeing how many people where there trying to get photos and do the pose on the crossing. Drivers were getting so cross and tooting horns, but we did wonder what they expected driving down that road! It was a bit if fun anyway and we wrote messages on the wall outside the studio. It was the day we had been looking forward to for a long time: the chance to see Arsenal play. It is the weekend of the Emirates Cup, a two day round-robin tournament between Arsenal and the three best performing Emirates sponsored clubs from around the world. This year the teams are Boca Juniors (Argentina), Paris St Germain and New York Red Bulls and we had tickets for the first day of the Cup! We visited the British Museum this morning which has so much to see that you'd need much more than one day - which makes it a good thing that entry is free. With our limited time we chose the ancient Egypt and Athens exhibits. I was particularly excited to see the Rosetta Stone, used to decipher Egyptian hieroglyphs. Today was our first full day in London and we started it off with some great sites! Today we went to Westminster Abbey which was even better inside than we'd imagined! We were truly wowed by it's magnificence: immaculate and intricate stained glass windows and beautiful plaques, statues and tributes to so many people. The audio tour is great and I was very excited to see the tombs of so many famous monarchs. Queen Mary (Bloody Mary, Henry VIII's eldest daughter)...

Finally we've made it to London and we can't believe we've been traveling for an entire month already - it really has gone so fast! We'd heard mixed stories about London so weren't sure how we would find it. On arrival the fast pace and hectic feel was quite overwhelming as we sorted out our oyster cards and where on earth we were and needed to go! We're spending our first two nights in a central London hostel so after planning some of our next few days over lunc...
