Hi all... So as we said at the end of our last blog, it was raining in Florianopolis.. but on to sun in Montevideo, time to move on after a lengthy couch journey of course which felt more urgent by the on-board crew of one; Christian, who spent most of the trip storming up and down the aisle serving drink and food at phenominal rate athough we did get pillows and blankets on this one. Bonus! Arrived in Montevideo and sun was out, checked in to hostel Che Legart...

Hi all We are writing this blog update from Ilha Santa Catarina - we leave here today heading for Montevideo, Uruguay. It is currently raining enormous cats and dogs out there... think we might get a touch on the wet side en route to getting our coach later this morning. Time for our macs to come out! So since our last blog update we went to Foz do Iguacu where we saw the beautiful Iguacu Falls... what a sight! They were really impressive and on the Argentin...

We are just at the end of our first leg of our big adventure - arrived in Rio on Monday night very late, after a tearful farewell at Heathrow T5... lots of love and cuddles exchanged with family and then off we trotted! Hi all... well it's day -1, we're at home in Edgcott. Had a farewell family dinner last night with the Kays, Banhams and Crossleys... lovely food, lots of wine, even more laughs.
