This is going to be quick and messy cause I only have 2 minutes left in this internet cafe.....It is cool here, very much a large city scene, but its wierd that bars, even the ones downtown, close at 11. There are a couple clubs that stay open later, but thats it. The underground or the "tube" is great, its so quick and convenient to get anywhere in London. I wish more cities in US were like that, though I guess New |York's system is pretty good. We went to the British museum today (saw Rossetta Stone, ancient Greece and Rome stuff such as many pieces of the Parthenon, ancient China, Egypt....it was very neat), walked through Hyde park ( a big nice park), saw the changing of the guards at Buckingham palace, and visited the Soho area, which is the chic area with neat restaurants, bars clubs, etc. Tomorrow's possibilities are the Tate Modern, Freud's house, seeing London Bridge and House of Parliament, possibly Globe Theatre...and maybe a few others. I plan on buying a journal and trying to write all this down so that I can then write it in my blog when I'm not being charged so much for internet. more to come.....
