Next stop was Whakahoro (apparently the WH is pronounced as F so it's an amusing name!) it's a big farm on a mountain called Blue Duck Station, the accommodation there was really lovely, much nicer than a hostel! We weren't able to do our skydive the day we arrived in Taupo due to bad weather so we had to sign up for the early morning one the next day, but it was still weather dependant and people were saying it didn't seem likely it would clear up by the morning. Next stop was Rotorua - which is a geothermal area and stinks of rotten eggs because of the sulphur dioxide. We visited some areas with geothermal activity that was mega hot so you can't get too close, then we got taken to a river that was about 37 degrees and had the option to go for a dip! I just paddled my feet and it was so amazingly warm and lovely! Then we made our way to our next stop.... Lake Taupo!

Raglan - Mourea Marae On day 2 we travelled to Mourea Marae via Waitomo which is where we went caving. Caving was a bloody scary experience for me!! Auckland - Raglan Day 1 of the stray tour, our bus driver is called Seagull (apparently they all have silly fake names!) There is about 20 people on the bus, and as it was everyone's first stop on the tour Seagull suggested having fish and chips together at the hostel so we all paid $5 and then went to a supermarket to get some drinks so we could have dinner and drinks together to get to know each other.
