This is now the largest free-standing structure in the world - higher than the Sears Tower and the Petronas twin towers in Kuala Lumbur!! It stands 1815.4 feet tall! The CN Tower name came from Canadian National, the railway company that originally built the tower. The American Society of Civil Engineers gave CN Tower second place in its 7 Modern wonders of the World! There was also something about the highest successful egg drop, but I didn't get the story on that. Sorry!
