I've just got back from sunny Madrid and tonight I headed to the pub quiz! Saw ur mum and dad lau:) We came bout 16th or something, but would have been second if we hadn't have got one wrong on the wipe out round! Laura you'll be pleased to know I got the question right about which sporting award was stolen on sep 11th 1985 - the fa cup! I was proud of that answer! lots and lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxx

You are doing very well in keeping us informed of your experiences so promptly as you go from place to place: and already you are both in South America so will be interested to hear about your new adventures there. Heathrow T5 still causing much amusement to the travelling public. xx

OK girls: just thought I'd let you know that Heathrow Terminal 5 has just opened to the travelling public today... let's just say that I do hope they've sorted out all the glitches by the time you return home. Great photos by the way.

Hi Lils. Must have been your novice chinese cooking that made you ick! Were you in the Irish pub on St Paddys day? That would have been St PatLick xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Enjoyed Lily's tour through the markets, countryside and cities and also sampling things Chinese like McDonalds, the Hard Rock and Irish public houses. Anyway, it sounds as if you are both having a great time and enjoying things, and of course the fun doesn't stop there with yet more countries and continents to conquer. Would have posted message sooner but couldn't solve the sum I was given...

Loving the postcards...keep them coming!xxx

Updates always appreciated - keep them coming: the briefing on cuisine is useful since I had been concerned that having just chicken fried rice every night for 3 weeks might get a bit boring.
