Duncan surprised us all by being a very good harmonica player- he was playing along whilst people were playing the guitar outside in the smoking area. After work, I went to The Courthouse to meet Jay, Dane, Masa (who work in the kitchen) and Nobby (who used to work at Hogs Breath- one of the people whose leaving nights out I went on) and his friend whose name was You-Me although I'm sure it's not spelt like that!

In my break, I cooked my black sapote in the work ovens. It didn't really have that much flavour on its own, but covered in the chocolate ganache, it was a very tasty pudding! Skype with mum and dad after was very entertaining, because mum kept accusing dad of things like putting the bedside lamp on so that he got the best lighting.

Dave had told me that 3 hours was plenty of time to do all my cleaning so I hope he swallowed his words when he saw the state of the place this morning. He was so shocked that he told me not to do the washing up that people had left and made me identify people on the CCTV footage of the kitchen who had left their washing up undone, which put me in a bit of an awkward 'snitch' position. Had a very productive day- filling out my tax file number declaration form, my tax file return for England and along the way discovered that my date of birth had been provided wrongly to the people my superannuation (like a pension in Australia) fund is with, and so sent off a certified photocopy of my ID to get that sorted too. I brought Emilie a postcard with a leaving message, and some cheese doodles (similar to Watsits) and liquorice pacifiers from Fika, and then gave them to her when we went for sushi, along with Bella and Dane.
