The lower, dustier bottles are a physical catalogue of every wine this particular vineyard has produced since such taste-control procedures began some fifty (or more?) years ago - every winery is charged with handing over one bottle of every wine produced to be officially tasted! This winery kept back a second bottle for its own records.
