The sole book accompanying me on my trip is the laudable Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach. It serves me well and is an inspirational motivating tool. i recently discovered that the book has been translated and this makes sense of a story told to me by my Spanish friend Paloma, who knows of a friend's grandmother who constantly refers to sea-gulls as 'Juan'; Jonathan in Spanish!
