First spotting of the Berlin Wall!! Put up in ONE NIGHT, on August 13th 1961. It meant business owners, people who worked on the other side, families, friends, significant others were SOL if they had connections on the other side. And the wall necessarily wasn't the problem to conquer, but it was more like the electric fences, spiky grass, snipers, attack dogs, and land mines that caused hundreds to loose their lives trying to cross it.
