Beautiful beaches... with quicksand. At some points in the year the sea actually totally surrounds St. Michael's Abby and it is totally inaccessible. They are actually beginning to build a damn which will wash away a lot of the sediment around the abby and make it less accessible, aka, being surrounded by water more often.
