Monday morning, just chilling - got to go find a job this week... Had a great weekend in Rye though the weather was like Dorset in autumn - sheeting rain, particularly when Mark decided to mow the lawn of course! Went up to the area where all the vineyards are and went to a microbrewery up there as well. Mark and I impulse purchased 14 bottles of vino and half a dozen bottles of beer. Tasting generally seems to cost a couple of dollars per person which isn't bad ...

Well here I is in Oz - weather is a bit sucky at the moment! Almost feels like home... Spent the afternoon sampling the fine cafe culture they have here and the alcohol that goes with it - off to the beach house this weekend, more on monday...

Huzzah! Another great day in HK... Totally failed to get across to Hong Kong island again - got distracted by the space and art museums. The space museum was a bit cod but the art museum more than made up for it! Beautifully laid out exhibits of calligraphy, gold and jade pieces plus two large contemporary installations using human hair as a medium - inspiring stuff! Unfortunately you'll have to wait till I get to Oz to see the photos coz I can't get the image up...

Walked all the way down Nathan Road this evening and looked out across the bay, doing the avenue of stars along the way. Stopped off at kowloon park on the way back for a rest. Have seen more Skylines (the Nissan kind) in one day than in all my time in the UK! Going across the bay on the Star Ferry tomorrow...

Yay i've made it this far... just piggybacked some poor duffers wireless connection so i can do this on the psp! HK rules... Off in a bit to haggle for a camera so expect photos with the next entry. ttfn!
