We left Wind Creek State Park and headed basically south to Pensacola FL. We are now a new team of two RVs – my Class C and Patti and Wayne’s beautiful Class A. As mentioned before, we will be trying to stay at Harvest Hosts if campgrounds are booked and for the different than a standard campground experience. Harvest Hosts is a membership program that provides access to a network of wineries, farms, breweries, museums and other unique attractions (Hosts) that invite self-contained RVers to visit and stay overnight for free. The RVers are asked to support the Hosts by purchasing their products. We decided to stay at a Harvest Host called Beulah Food Forest. Let’s just say it was a unique experience. It was advertised as a great place for kombucha based products and honey. But basically we parked in their front yard/driveway and did not get to see anything else. We did buy honey. On the positive side, we met a very nice couple from Pennsylvania who owned a distillery that we hope to visit. (Very nice meeting you guys.)
We didn’t get a chance to get to this beach but it’s now on my list.
