Sorry I haven't written to you sooner, I hope you are ok and having fun. The photo's look great, and everyone is looking forward to you getting back. Frome station is just as busy as normal, and as for me I'm now at the end of my probation. Sharon is about to finish her training at Portishead, but I'm affraid she is being sent to Wells instead of Frome. When you get back, we will all have to go out for a drink to catch up on the gossip. Any way take care of yourself and keep safe.
Looking forward to seeing you

Alright Rach! Hope you are enjoying Singapore and especially Raffles-told you the singapore slings were expensive. The pictures are looking really good, shame about your camera but you are in the right place to get it fixed, or get a new one! Speaking of cameras my ongoing sag of the my camera that broke 2 months into the trip has finally come back fixed 11 months later, only they sent it to my (old) Bath address despite writing to them twice with my new one, and my old eccentric deaf neighbour GAVE IT TO HER CLEANER!! Argggggggggggggggh.
Peace

Hey Babe,
As always photo's and blog are amazing. Nik and I are back at school and we are both finding the classes we have this year are challenging! Hopefully we will soon whip them into shape. We only have 4 more weeks before half term.
The house is nearly finished with the new kitchen being fitted this week. Then it is just a few tidying up bits and decoration to do before its all done. Well, all done except the outside! Hopefully Maff is going to help us with that though. He has moved back in now as Paulie and Anna are back from there honey moon and although he will be pleased to have his stuff and we have the lunge done there is currently no where to prepare food!
Well the wedding is starting to come together now with dress and shoes brought and invitations being proofed. And by the sounds of it you have sorted our honey moon out too ;-)
Can't wait to see you! Miss you lots.

ME
Hi All
Today as dated by the blog is 1st September 2007. I wanted to put a message on my board in memory of Issy, Tom, Mel and Stokes who died 11 years ago today.
I'm still in Siem Reap in Cambodia and have been up since 5am cycling and walking around the marvel of Angkor Wat...it's nearly 4pm now. My thoughts have been with them all day and I've been appreciative of the fact that strangely enough a large proportion of the site at Angkor reminded me so much of Shearwater and Stourhead... places I know some if not all of them were fond of.
Eddie I'm thinking of you and please pass on my love to your Mum and Dad and Em please pass on the same to Lin and Mel's family if possible. I know for many of us today is never a good day but I'm content in the knowledge that we're all thinking the same.
Issy, Tom, Mel and Stokes, I miss you.
Love

Hi Rach,
Well what a ball you are having!! I have just been catching up on your adventures, which has taken me ages, so glad you are enjoying it, just think of all those wonderful memories that will have to think back on when your back on night duty!! Thanks for your good wishes seem to be on the mend, just needed some time out.
By the way you certainly make my trip around europe by rail look tame,in comparison.
Take care Lesley X

Good Morning Raquel,
Claire Dingley just sent me your blog link this morning, so I thought I'd say hello. I guess you must be almost half way round your trip, and I can only imagine the sights andd sounds you've encountered so far. These memories will last you a lifetime, at least!
Life is on the change for me, having been offered a transfer to the Disability Benefits Centre in Flowers Hill, Brislington. I start on 24th September, and am really looking forward to it now. I'm so BORED in the Pension Service now, as I only sit and email all day!!
I heard from Nicole on the occasion of my 50th in July. She was in Berlin and sent me a card with the German version of the Spice Girls (plus 20 stone!!) on it. She did suggest a get together sometime this month, so I' m ever hopeful!!
Mr Emm is still working hard, and we've had a couple of nice holidays this year. We're off to sunny North Devon the week before I start my new job, so I should be refreshed. Other than that life is much the same for me, unlike your life, which is constantly changing!!
Have fun, Raquel, and see you hopefully when you return.
