As promised, messages from the NHP team and other friends at the station. Your board is getting very popular here, with everyone keeping up to date with your travel blogs. Low profile in Iran, look after yourself, we all miss you. Dave A

just a quick reminder when getting into your fancy dress outfit for iran - remember to wear socks as you don't want your ankle's showing. and don't worry, the socks will look fine with your flip flops, that's how they all wear them.
in fact if i was you, it would be better to keep your head down and keep a low profile - mingle in!!
right speak to you later -
i'll keep watching the news but you've not popped up on points west as yet so things must still be going according to plan

I thought you swore you would never go back to Turkey - tut tut tut! It's scorchio here in McLeod Ganj further up in the Himalayas - hired a "Great Escape" motorbike but after a day I was so scared with the driving I promptly gave it back!! I wish I was on your trip as I've got to go back home next week - gutting!
Hope you're keeping it most wicked - don't do anything I wouldn't!!

Hi,
I'm off on my travels in a few hours, so hope to be enjoying the sunshine tomorrow with a nice beer by the pool, in Gran Canaria. I need a break so much and will be leaving a rainy Manchester. Not much has been happening really, i've been saving myself for my hols.

Hey Rach,
Its early Sunday morning and before I hit the books I thought I'd have a little read whilst I slurp my morning brew.
It sounds like you have done loads already although reading it all in one go has left me a little confused of what and when. Photo's are great, especially truck sleepers. There is one huy (Dave maybe?) that looks a little like a cross between Colpesh in her youth (aka Ralph little) and TP when he has had a very heavy night! It made me chuckle.
Well not really any news here I am afraid. I am back in school now until the end of my course and only have one assignment to do. Yipee! The hardest thing now will be getting a job. There are not many about and when you are up against people who have already been teaching or done a 4 year B Ed it makes the competition tough! I have done OK with my applications and have been shortlisted for a few things but they often clash and I missed out on one interview to attend another, the second part of which is this week. There are another couple of deadlines before that though so I must get on with them now.
Have done nothing for the wedding and nothing to the house. Maff and I have signed up for the New Forest half marathon though so need to get in shape soon.
Take care
Love Tab x

Hola Raquel!
How is Iran this time of year? Pleasant, I hope. I'd move along if I were you, the yanks are going to nuke it sometime soon, so probably best to grab some souvenirs for eBay later.
Things are cool here, just spent the weekend out and about, saw some of the Gumball Rally 3000 cars in Picadilly, including a £850,000 Bugatti Veyron.. then got sun-stroke playing cricket with a pub team on Sunday. Got a couple of fours and kept my overs cheap, so got a recall which I may or may not take up (international commitments, y'know). The weather is fab here, so barbies are a major part of our cuisine right now. Made my own burger relish this weekend which was superb, will have to do it for your next one (wherever that might be!).
I've got to do some work, but now I know how to use this thing, I'll be back on soon.
Take care babe,
Tx
p.s. Can you please put in some ground work for me while you're on your travels? Photos, stats and email addresses would be fine.. (particularly eastern europe and australia :)
