The full moon party was something else. So much fun! The beach was packed with people from all over the world, all dressed in bright full moon party shirts. It was lined with bars and food stands, as well as some entertainment like the large skipping rope on fire which many people tried to jump through. It's been a busy few days! We took a ferry to Koh Lanta, which was a beautiful island, but there weren't very many people. We stayed in a cute little resort and we had air conditioning! Such a nice change. We tried some local dishes, with Morgan's rice being served in a whole pineapple! We left Phuket on a ferry and have spent the last couple of days on the island Koh Phi Phi Don. It is an island occupied by locals but largely taken over by tourists. There are no roads here, so you have to walk everywhere or take longtail boats around the island. The paths through the island are all lined with shops., restaurants, and travel information booths. Well we made it here safe and sound! After four flights and a night camped out in the Bangkok airport, we made it to Phuket, the big island in southern Thailand.
