Merry christmas and a happy new year to everyone!!!
I hope you all had a lovely time wherever you were for christmas. I know we did! On christmas day we went to the beach for a seafood picknick for lunch and later we had the traditional english turkey dinner with all that comes with it. Stake and Viv have been amazing, taking us out for sightseeing, cooked gorgeous food and yesterday they let us have the car to drive down to surfers paradise, where we met a couple we've had contact with on couchsurfing, for a picknick on the beach and some bodysurfing!
Brisbane is such a nice city. Bigger than i thought but doesn't feel like it. Probably bigger than stockholm though? We've gone for walkes in the park and along the river. There are so much nice little cafes and restaurants there, if only we had enough money i'd spend every morning there just sipping a latte reading the newspaper or a book... hmm...
Anyway, next stop is Newcastle. Catching the bus tmorrow at noon and arriving there at 2am local time. (they are one more hour ahead) We're gonna couchsurf there aswell. On the 30th we're going to sydney to celebrate the new year. Should be a very exciting event. Meeting up with our fraser crew and some other travellers we've met on the way.
Thank you john & louise for contacting stake and viv! We've been looking at photos of you guys from when they were last in england!
