Glen Feshie is about three hours from Aberdeen. We had to leave our mini-bus in a car park (parking lot) about four miles from the bothy (cottage). Since we didn't leave Aberdeen until about 7 p.m., our hike was illuminated only by the moon and our torches (flashlights). We had to cross bridge-less rivers twice--a chilly and slippery feat, especially in the misty rain.
