When we arrived at the bothy close to midnight Friday night, there was already a party of about six Scottish travelers there. They had the fireplace roaring, candles lit, remnants of a delicious feast and plenty of whisky (yes, that's the correct spelling) and wine. They were generous with their provisions and in turn we shared some of the veggies, wine, cheese and bread we'd brought. In this photo, we're munching some lettuce leaves and drinking wine.
