Queen Charlotte came here during her summers. She had 15 kids and 2 misscarriages in 21 years. That is almost a pregnancy a year! Anyway, she had a menagerie, with tigers and whatnot, in the front of her summer home to entertain her kids. A lot of the birds were allowed to run wild and so, 200 years after Queen Charlotte had her menagerie, there are still crazy birds running around the gardens.
