I'm glad to hear that you arrived safely and are having a blast! I know what you mean about Madrid. It has lots of tapas bars and some beautiful old historic bldgs, but not much else. Barcelona is great. Did you hang out on Las Ramblas?? Did you get into the old city (bario)? Make sure to do that if you go to the cities. Did you see Gaudi's cathedral?

Not sure where you are going next, but I hope that you get to the Alhambra in Granada. I think that you said you were going there. Also, Cordoba has a fantastic World Heritage Sight that is a cathedral built right over a beautiful mosque. It is the focal point of the old city. Seville is great, too.

Hey Luke, Can't believe it has been two weeks since you left.....sounds like you two are having a blast!! You sure are hearing about our horrible weather here, so I will add to that and say today we had freezing rain, then rain and now maybe snow. One thing about Canadians...we sure can talk about the weather. Did you see Warrick Castle? I stayed in the gatehouse for 10 days once on business. It is a B&B, and so slanted that my keys kept falling off the T.V. Great to be able to keep up with your travels. Stay safe and take care of each other. Sounds like Madrid is quite a mediocre place. Oh well im sure portugal will get better, same with morocco have you guys climbed any mountains yet like jeeze you should be doing more active things:P. But yea it rained here today in Canada so it's pretty much all ice and slush out there.

P.S. Me and that leigh guy you're talking about go way back, we've had some adventures, great person.:P

Could you try to look at least a little miserable. I mean, having fun, meeting weird people (Swedes), seeing beautiful cities, interesting architecture, historical monuments and sand and surf is all right for a while, but really - how many good times can you two take in one six month odyssey . . .

Hey, just got some sports news it's All-Star weekend for the NBA so yea:

Kopono won the 3-point contest and tied the all time record(last record was in 1986) with 25 points

Dwight Howard won the Slam Dunk Contest, for his 2nd round dunk, he literally dressed up as superman and jumped so high that he threw the ball into the net.

Deron Williams won the Skills Challenge and set a new record with 25 seconds.

San Antonio took home the Shooting competition with help from Tim Duncan and a WNBA player(don't know her).

other than that the All-Star game is tommorow!. Hope spain is going well!.
