Hello from Edinburgh we are all well and still here. Dad just gone to Broughton to get ready for the bricklayer starting next week and Laura in bed after a Saturday night of working till 3. Just read the Sunday papers and am about to do something constructive so thought I would post this first. Hey everyone! Just in an internet cafe in Sydney killing time before we get on a bus to Canberra to visit Allira for the weekend. We've not done that much in town in the past couple of days apart from the usual stuff like the cathedral, townhall etc... Tim and Helen drove us up the north beaches of Sydney and took us out to a lovely restaurant for lunch on Wednesday, then Tim has taken us out for the past two nights aswell. We can't believe how much cheaper drinks are here- it's ridiculous! Although... we seem to have turned into two old ladies, neither drinking very much nor staying up too late. What's happened to us? Very excited about going to see Allira, I'm sure the Hearl's (the family we're staying with in Sydney) will appreciate the quite weekend too. So, you finally emerged in the Hearl's Sydney pad! It was good to learn that you are both still alive and obviously enjoying life on the high hog. BY comparison, our holiday in Tenerife has been relatively simple. Days spent by the pool or in the sea and nights spent gorging ourselves on spanish food. Today was quite special-we went out on a boat to watch pilot whales and dolphins approximately two miles off the coast. Dull when compared with sharks, but pleasurable nonetheless. Will surpassed himself by managing to video some dolphins on his mobile phone, only to delete the clip on return to the hotel. He pressed the wrong button and deleted instead of ´saved´!!! We are back in the UK on Friday evening, so a call on Sat or Sun would work well. LYL M & D + W & A.

I dont know where you thought we were going or where Mum thought she was, but I went to a joint called Café St Honoré also known as Maison Hector to certain Campbells! Almost raised a toast to absent Porge but the food was too good so we just troughed away without you and feeling zero guilt as you are obviously not having the most rough of times yourself. Has Nursey got the taste of the Manowar poison out of her mouth yet? Love SD

Bonjour all. Just a wee message to let you know that we've finally made it to sydney.... being the grungy travellers that we are we've managed to get ourselves a seriously amazing room in a seriously amazing appartment overlooking sydney harbour, courtesy of a few good contacts. We are the luckiest girls on the planet. Such a lovely family, I think we've been welcomed with open arms, and maybe we won't ever come home. Nothing will ever be good enough for us again, we've had a big taste of the good aussie life, and its pretty darn special. We were even taken out last night for a VB (beer) and shown the extra special highlights of the sydney nightlife (a drunken kiwi.) No, its awesome and we are both still in shock, everytime we see that stunning harbour view from our bedroom window......(*cue small violin) XXXXXX
