I'm so glad you had a great birthday, although I'm totally jealous.

Ed and I celebrated your birthday by winning the bridge; I know we've done that before, but never against Bernard and Margaret, who basically run the club, and play VERY WELL!

Did you hear I crunched the car! I gently pressed the tailgate into a sticky-out metal bit on the side of the wall on the ground floor of the multi-story. I thought I had just broken the rear windscreen, but the lid is bent too. £100s of damage! Oh Dear.

Mum has bought some new plants for under the front window, after we did a bit of digging last week. Everything is growing madly, but, of course, also being eaten, and damaged with fungal things.

Shena's Mum died unexpectedly on Thursday night, so she is very shocked and sad.

Not much in the diary over June. I'll have to get something organised!!

Something wonderful is happening in July. KATIE'S COMING HOME!!! YEH!!
