I spent round about 4 hours typing up my exceptionally long online postcards about my trip to Vietnam, then had to leave in a rush, saved it to the computer and just my luck that the school decided to wipe the comps of all excess material this morning. So I have lost everything and it was a pretty good analysis of my experiences so I'm a teeny bit miffed and theres no way I can be fekd writing it all up again. Sorry. x

After a couple of uneasy and exhausting days, I've managed to catch up on sleep again so I'm back on the rather random and exciting track towards the end of my placement here. So many thoughts zooming about the place- just lying chatting to the girls- Aubry, Meeza and Joyce last night and thinkin how much I'm reeeally gona miss them all. Great to have Aman back on board- missed her over the last couple of weeks- weird not being together when we're used to living in each other's pockets. And now only 2 weeks, 3 days to go until I meet Darren in Singapore and I'm off on my next adventure. Can't believe it. Got so much to cram into that time so I better go get started!! xx

I walked around the lake twice this afternoon...weather is nice today (cool and cloudy) so it didn't take very long at all. I'm just killing time until my bus to Savan. Found DHL, and was mortified to learn that it would cost something like $400 to send my bag home, no exaggeration, the prices were extortion. Even for 1kg! I have no idea how much my bag is, at least 12, so I'm hanging onto it for now and taking it to Laos with me even though I don't want to. Feel really gutted about that. Anyway, I hope the next 3 weeks in the asrama fly by for you and before you know it, you'll be livin' it up in Thailand with your man. Haha about you getting all excited about being in tailor heaven. Back to buzzing Bangkok after Ko Samui and Tao. Doing a tour tomorrow that includes the Tiger Temple *chitters*. It's 11pm and I've got to get up at 6am *groans* but I'm sure it'll be worth it, just need to kick myself out of bed (you know what I'm like :p). Just remembered, got no Malay cash on me and at the Air Asia terminal, no ATM *arghh*! So might be a hassle getting back to school on Sunday evening. Get ready to lay out the sexy outfits for viewing *winks*. Missing you bubs x

Havin a blast in Hoi an at the mo- can't even begin to explain what its like. 1 tiny ancient town, over 300 tailors, all ready to make absolutely any design you have in mind, shoes, clothes, bags, anything. So as you can imagine, I've been a bit jittery with excitement over the last couple of days. In a crazy whirlwind of fittings and re-fittings cause we're leaving for Hue 2moro (if Sarah and I actually decide to leave here!) So we'll be in Hoi an 2nite, Hue 2moro, leave hue 2moro, head up on a oober long bus to Hanoi. So should be there in a couple of days. Everythings fine. Bar the disgusting sun blisters we all have and rejected tan lines. Wish we could stay here longer, its just too good. xx

Hello Kirsty. Glad to hear you're having such a good time in Vietnam. We got back to Edinburgh safe and sound with a slight hiccup when we missed our transfer to Edinburgh from Paris and had to go home via Amsterdam, but it's all good. I have some photos up on the doyouloveyourphotos site but they need sorted out and named. There are some good ones of you and Joyce and all the kittens :) Go and check out Daves photos for all of them. We are going to write up our diary online too and make a photo diary thing on Daves site so I'll let you know when you can go check it out.
