Monkey brains- naasty. Think I'll stay clear of them when i visit!! Poor monkeys. Apologies for the scensoring of the name of the port! We have absolutely gorgeous beaches on the islands off KK but I cam't wait to find more on my travels!

Didn't like the name of my summer hol resort I see, has risky connotations I guess on the net! It was Port, Shortened version of 'Robert',son = D...son. Made me laugh, you have to be so careful with words I guess!!

Don't fancy the chickens feet much. When I lived in Singapore I remember going to the Market and being horrified to see monkey's brains as a delicacy (visibly in the monkeys head, top sawn off and still alive!! Scarred me for life!!)
Is the big pineapple factory, with the gigantic pineapple out the front, still by the main road in Johor Baharu? Maybe you've not been there yet. I remember the beautiful beaches and crystal blue water at Port d*** on one summer holiday, these places will probably be all developed now beyond recognition.
