Hello Sweetheart.
I spoke to your Mum last night and she said she had a great time. She was so proud of how you're coping and of your bargaining skills!! Rosie will soon be with you. Rosie,Hannah and I had a lovely lunch with Davy at the week-end. He even made soup!! Just hang on in there. Think of all the shopping still to do and think of all the great friends you've made.

Hey! How's things going - not many posts recently. Not much out of the ordinary happening here at the moment. Lots of deadlines, lost of rehearsals for the orchestra concert coming up, and we're in the middle of a 2 week radio broadcast so I've been doing several (3hr!) news team slots. Easter was great - I got about 10hrs sleep in the whole weekend - CU bonfire down the beach, StarFM, got up at 5am on Easter day to watch the sunrise on the West Sands, went to a 7am open-air church service looking out to sea by the catherdal ruins (where they gave us breakfast :-P ), decorated + rolled eggs, was too tired to ceilidh so did the Hall Easter egg hunt and my team swapped oiur prize of a large bottle of alcohol for a packet of hot-crossed buns (they thot we were insane but I genuinely don't LIKE alcohol!). My family were up to visit on Monday 'cos - long story - my parents went to St Andrews with my academic mum, and her family were all up to visit for her parents 25th wedding anniversary. Ok, so I take it back, there HAS been lots of interesting stuff happening, and no doubt there will be more! I see Claire has been in touch! randomly discovered we both knew you and gordon Imrie - *it's a small world after all, it's a small world after all.......* Tis wierd how everybody here seems to be connected to each other in some way or other. Recently discovered of my friends parents ALSO knew mine when they were at St A's! Wonder how many other connections there are that I may never discover........

Hi Kirsty
Hang in there. It'll be OK. I'm having a great time in Australia- don't want to come home, I'm being so well looked after. I've been down to Canberra for two days. Yesterday I had a nostalgic trip into Sydney with Colin and today we've been out in the boat in Pittwater. Tomorrow we are off to Melbourne and the Great Ocean Road. Be in touch when I get to Perth. <ook after yourself. Love you.

Back in the UK, just landed at Heathrow and waiting for my connecting flight to Edinburgh. Feeling a teensy bit tired, I set off from KK 21 hours ago and have only had a wee snooze in all that time. Can't wait to get home to my beddiebyes.

Suuuuuuuuucks- mummys gone home and I'm all alone again. Well Aman gave me a big hug which was good. Just hate being back to the whole looking at the calendar thing- just seems like it's never ending-grr. I know it will go quicker than the last few months- but it's still 10 weeks till I finish the placement, which is a friggin long time. My tummys rumbling, but I don't wana eat cause my tummys all big from eating so well when mum+gran were over.Just gota get through the next 4 weeks, then Rosie will be here and there will be exams on in school, so no classes to teach until after our 2 week holidays in May/June-woo! Then its a home run till I leave. Ahh- so fingers crossed I survive till Rosie arrives! xx

Glad you're enjoying yourself Granny- was worried we may have tired you out too much last week. Mum and I had absolutely fab time on Pulua Tiga- it was as tropical as a tropical island can get! I'm back to school tomorrow so I'm hoping the next week will go quickly. Keep having fun in Aus! xx

Well this will be my last message from Borneo, Boo Hoo! Kirsty and I are spending the day together in KK, we've been to the Sunday Market for a little retail therapy. We have also been sorting out some survival issues for Kirsty, prioity getting a hotplate so that she can cook in the Asrama - sorted! Further purchases have included a sharp knife, a chopping board, a grater and a big plastic box to store everything away from the Freds (geckos), ants and cockroaches. We're off to the supermarket later to buy some pasta and other essentials. See you all soon, xxxxxxx
