Red Sea - Diving in the Red Sea! Yeow… sooo good to dive again, has been almost a year… ohh and the red sea, truly is amazing… sooo many fish I felt like I was in an aquarium. Monique did a fun dive and loved it, and then we hit up ministry of sound for a quick dance… the next day we chilled at the beach, caught an overnight bus back to Cairo.
Back in Cairo we hit up the Museum where we saw mummies, yes, mummies dating 1200 BC, with finger nails and hair… it is amazing that happened back then, and how they Egyptians were able to do that… We also saw Tutankhamen's treasure and mask (that weight 11kgs and was made from gold!). This museum is great and very well preserved… statues, sarcophaguses, mummified animals and people and jewellery. After the museum we went shopping, now I'm not actually a huge fan of shopping, ok, I kinda hate it normally, but in a market where you are nagged to buy everything or be someone's wife, you get over it really quickly, but the experience is always necessary, and I continue to do it in every country. This time we bought what we had to and we got out… had a beer on the roof top of our hotel and took in the sites of Cairo city, which has the same population of Australia.
