----------------CHIANG MAI----------------

Me and Sumzy are in Chang Mai and the weather is AMAZING! Yesterday we got back from a 2 day 1 night trek that included on the first day one VERY hard trek up a mountain to get to a tribe, whose village we stayed in. It was very fun, but hard!! It was sumzys first trek, so the guide kindly carried her bags for her so she could concentrate on not falling down the mountain :P. We scoffed our faces with delicious thai food at the camp though!!

The next day after brekkie, we trekked to a gorgeous waterfall and had a swim in the icy water to cool off. Then trekked to the Elephant place where we rode around on the elephant we named 'Bernie', he was SO CUTE, we fed him Banana's! Then we did White water rafting, but it wasn't so extreme- I'll have to try it in Oz or NZ where the water might be more crazy. We also did Bamboo rafting where you just float down the river on loads of Bamboo, and the man steers with a Venice style piece of Bamboo. He let me 'drive' for half of it which was wicked!! It was like I was a real Thai man for 20 minutes!!

Today is mothers day- happy mothers day to all of the mothers. Me and sumzy wish we could give you big hugs and kisses (Our mothers only- not all of the mothers lol).

Me and sumz have left the lovely girls Kirsty and George who we were travelling with, and miss them a lot! But have met some wicked Sweedish ppl we're meeting again tonight. Hope to see G and K in Oz!
